Clearinghouse

The Clearinghouse or call center is the hub and heart of Love INC. Through its central clearinghouse, Love INC is able to screen requests for extent of need and legitimacy, and refer the requests to a local church ministry, church volunteer, or community agency. Love INC follows up to ensure the need was met and to offer support. Duplication of services is eliminated between service agencies and churches, and collaboration of shared resources is encouraged.

Love INC attempts to build a relationship with the client rather than give direct cash assistance. By offering supplemental support like transportation to a doctor's appointment, a hot meal, visitation, or yard care, many of Love INC's clients start to feel cared for, valued, and connected. Often clients are referred to us by the Medical Center, by the school districts, or by local churches.
