Prayer Meeting

The next prayer meeting will be held on August 17, 2010 at 7 a.m. at the home of board member Ruth Holp, 888 Front Street, Hershey. Park in the field and walk across to home. Please join us as we pray for our ministries, clients, volunteers and community needs.

Love INC Walkers Participate in Highmark Fundraiser

The rain held off at City Island on Saturday, May 22, 2010 as Love INC of Greater Hershey joined 34 other non-profit organizations in Central Pennsylvania at the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. Many thanks to Highmark Blue Shield for hosting the event and to the Love INC staff, walkers, and volunteers who gathered 67 pledges to raise over $3,000 to support the Love INC mission of transforming lives and the community in the name of Christ! Volunteer Celebration Highlights

On April 10, 2010, over 70 volunteers and friends gathered at Grace United Methodist Church in Hummelstown to celebrate the volunteers and success of Love INC of Greater Hershey. Special recognition was given to volunteers Sara Tipton, Rev. Doug Miller, and Carol Davidson. Sara Tipton was the leader of the LOVE INC Steering team L.I.G.H.T. She is currently co-chairing a fundraising walk on May 22, 2010 at City Island, Harrisburg. Rev. Doug Miller was Love INC's first board chairman serving for 3 years. He was the visionary behind the Personal Care Closet. As volunteer Parsonage Director, Carol Davidson was instrumental in making The Parsonage house a well-run home for our guests. A big thank you to Sara, Doug, and Carol and all of our volunteers who help us transform lives and the community In the Name of Christ!
